Two other people and I have been studying the over consumption of calories. Our assignment was to first find out how much the average person was consuming per day, per week, per month, etc. Then on a different table we had to put the consumption per population, like per household, per community, per city, etc. Then our job was to put everything onto a graph, that was my job. We had to ensure that all the graphs were linear and that they were a constant rise at the bottom. Then there was the linear equation, and that was someone else's job. With all the information we gathered we had to make a model to represent the info. My groups original plan was that was were going to make a model out of sugar, because most people get a lot of their calories from sugar and fat, and since we didn't really want to work with fat, we decided on sugar. After doing some math we figured out that it would take 221 cups of sugar to represent the amount of someones daily calorie intake. We then figured out that that's a lot of sugar!! So instead we got together some pictures of cups of sugar, the copied and pasted them 221 times on Google draw. I had never used Google draw before, but I have to admit it was pretty simple since I already have my knowledge from Google drive. Anyways we made the cups of sugar into a pyramid because we think it will catch peoples eyes more, but anyways here it is.

Second Blog Post? My Intentions, Sort of...
So our class is graded on these five things called cross curricular competencies. The five are Communication, Critical Thinking, Personal Responsibility, Social Responsibility, and Creativity. My intentions of this blog is that it represents myself as a learner. Personally Creativity is really important to me because without the littlest amount of creativity, everybody would be the same, and dress the same, and everybody's work would be the same with no way to distinguish it. My goals through high school would be to be the best that I can be, like get A's and B's and be the most honest and respectful, helpful person I can be.
